Integrated in a holistic campaign strategy for the 200th anniversary of the traditional Swiss textile company Christian Fischbacher, our task was to communicate the company history in the form of an innovative Customer Magazine. The aim of the brochure: to strengthen the corporate identity of the world’s oldest, family-run textile publisher.
As an experienced sparring partner in the strategic conception of themes for corporate brochures, we relied on storytelling for Fischbacher’s Customer Magazine “Tabloid”, which brings the essence of the company’s history to life. In the style of a large-format lifestyle magazine, this brochure was intended to give dealers, planners, designers, press representatives and end customers lively insights into the company’s two-century development. In the interplay of text and images, we focused on the balance of information and entertainment in order to emphasise the aesthetically high-quality premium character of the magazine.

Our storytelling for the Customer Magazine “Tabloid” focused on the milestones of the company’s 200-year history: shaped by the personalities who contributed their flair for market-relevant products to the company’s development, a powerful narrative was created for the brochure that highlighted the innovative power, courage and cosmopolitan spirit of the different generations of Fischbachers.
In the course of our journalistic treatment of the different topics, the wealth of milestones and groundbreaking collaborations of Fischbacher at the interface of fashion and home textiles, we showed the instinct and creative vision with which the designers conquered the home collection and accessories sector. Significant international connections, a development expertise that has been passed down from generation to generation and repeatedly expanded in line with the times, and the influence of culturally divergent demands on textiles were revealed for the first time in this density and in a new context in the stories along the brand history.

With the Customer Magazine “Tabloid”, the representatives of Christian Fischbacher were given a strong tool to communicate the heritage of the brand. The very focused content we developed gives a clear vision of what brand identity is hidden in every product of the textile company. Thus, the brochure with the target group-oriented texts by hicklvesting was accepted as a powerful tool in customer acquisition and retention and also in employer branding. Even after the big anniversary year, the publication is used to inspire press representatives with the manufacturer’s remarkable corporate story.
Christian Fischbacher has been designing luxurious, qualitatively and aesthetically outstanding textiles for more than 200 years. The Swiss company is a globally active supplier of the finest furnishing fabrics, carpets, wallpapers, bed linen and home accessories for private, contract and outdoor use. Christian Fischbacher furnishes hotels, offices, concert halls, clinics as well as private jets and ships all over the world and is now run as a family business in the sixth generation.
